Assessment of physical fitness and exercise tolerance in children with developmental coordination disorder
Research in Developmental Disabilities(2015)
摘要
•Motor coordination problems were associated with poorer fitness in children, both in relation to submaximal and anaerobic performance.•BMI was associated with poorer explosive strength, power and exercise tolerance in children with pDCD.•Agility, explosive strength and power are negatively effected in DCD children.•The large difference in 6MWD between children with and without DCD could be explained, in part, by the increased muscle strength in typically developing children, which is likely associated with increased exercise tolerance such as walking distance.
