Organic vs. conventional farming dichotomy: Does it make sense for natural enemies?

•We identified a large diversity of organic and conventional farming practices.•Three groups of aphids’ natural enemies responded to this diversity.•A more detailed description of practices provided a finer understanding of the ecological process.•Our results help promote biological control in agro-ecosystems.
