摘要
In the present study, we investigated the relationship between von Hippel–Lindau (VHL) mutations and programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression. We demonstrated that VHL mutation status significantly correlated with PD-L1 expression in clear cell renal cell carcinoma patients. We also demonstrated that VHL mutations induced hypoxia-inducible factor-2 alpha stabilization that positively regulates PD-L1 expression.
