摘要

•We investigate CDX2 expression with both immunohistochemistry and RT-qPCR.•Low CDX2 expression is associated with right-sided tumors, poor differentiation grade and MMR-deficiency.•There is a high concordance between the results from immunohistochemistry and RT-qPCR.•CDX2 expression was not significantly associated with recurrence risk.
