•Kibdelosporangium phytohabitans KLBMP 1111T is an endophytic actinomycete isolated from oil-seed plant Jatropha curcas L. in China with plant growth promoting ability.•Complete genome consists of one chromosome composed of 11,759,770bp with 68.4% GC content, 10,205 coding sequences.•Various key genes related to plant growth promoting properties were identified.•An antiSMASH analysis revealed 47 gene clusters encoding the biosynthesis of secondary metabolites.
