摘要

•EEG entropy analysis was able to relate to different types of Disorders of Consciousness (DOC).•Local information content in the EEG by means of permutation entropy was reduced according to the severity of the DOC.•DOC patients showed altered directed information flow in the EEG by means of symbolic transfer entropy, indicating impaired feed-backward connectivity.
