摘要
•Diabetes patients have stiffer arteries compared to age and BP reference ranges.•In diabetes, well-controlled hypertension is not associated with high arterial stiffness.•Normotensive patients with PN have accelerated vascular aging.•Careful management of these patients is required to prevent CV complications.•The relationship between PN and arterial stiffness requires further studies.
