The clinical characteristics and prognosis of IGH deletion in multiple myeloma.

•We do a retrospective study to analyze the frequency, clinical characteristics, and prognosis of IGH deletion in multiple myeloma in a large cohort.•IGH deletion is frequent in multiple myeloma with a incidence rate of 22.7%.•IGH deletion is significantly related with κ light chain M-protein type, 13q deletion and t(4; 14).•IGH deletion dose not influence the prognosis of MM patients.
