Complete pathological response to transcatheter arterial infusion despite a rapidly progressing recurrent hepatocellular carcinoma with portal vein tumor thrombus: A case report.

•Transcatheter arterial infusion effectively controlled a rapidly progressing recurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma with portal vein tumor thrombus that developed after radiofrequency ablation. This was followed by radical hepatic resection, which showed complete pathological response.
