摘要
•Both asthma and race or ethnicity can increase obstetrical and neonatal complications.•We examined asthma-associated risks within race or ethnic groups.•White asthmatics had higher risk of pre-eclampsia and hemorrhage than nonasthmatics.•NICU admission and SGA risk were higher for white and Hispanic infants of asthmatics.•Asthmatic black women had similar outcomes as nonasthmatic black women.•Maternal asthma is not a major factor in obstetrical or neonatal race/ethnic disparities.
