Determination of ametoctradin residue in fruits and vegetables by modified quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged, and safe method using ultra-performance liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry.

•This is the first study to determine ametoctradin residues in vegetables and fruits using UPLC–MS/MS.•Recoveries of target analytes in the matrices were 81.81–101.1% with RSD of <7.88% and the LOQ of the method did not exceed 0.135μgkg−1.•Modified QuEChERS method is used to extraction and purification ametoctradin for the first time.
