摘要

•Rat liver micronucleus (MN) assay was investigated with a repeated dose regimen.•A hepatocarcinogen, MP gave a positive result in the liver MN assay.•MP showed hepatotoxicity at lower dose.•The liver MN assay can be integrated into a repeated dose toxicity study.•An additional short-term study may be needed for chemicals with weak positive reaction.
