Simultaneous determination of creatine phosphate, creatine and 12 nucleotides in rat heart by LC-MS/MS.

•The LC-MS/MS method was relatively simple without using any phosphate buffer and ion-pairing reagents.•The analysis time was only 10 min for all the analytes.•In the assay, simultaneous determination of GTP, ATP, UTP, ADP, GMP, AMP, CMP, UMP, CP, and creatine in heart tissue by LC-MS/MS was reported for the first time.
