摘要
•The regenerative ability of a 3-D microporous scaffold comprising soluble silkworm gland hydrolysate (SSGH) and human collagen in a tissue injury model.•The protein release and antioxidative properties of the SSGH/collagen to enhance proliferation, the attachment of skin fibroblasts and prevents apoptosis.•Cytocompatibility of the SSGH/collagen scaffold was demonstrated using mesenchymal stem cells from human umbilical cord.•The SSGH/collagen scaffold accelerated wound re-epithelialization over a 15-day period.
