摘要
•We generated rotenone model in primary midbrain dopaminergic neurons.•We examined the relationship between FMO, parkin and neuron apoptosis.•FMO and parkin was decreased in rotenone model, accompanied by caspase 3 activation.•FMO dysfunction was a reason for the apoptosis of DA neurons in rotenone model.•Parkin function was compromised in neuro-pathological states.
