摘要

Histamine-evoked catecholamine secretion from bovine chromaffin cells was studied. Secretion was not prevented by inhibitors of IP3 receptors, protein kinase C, or phospholipase C; depleting Ca2+ stores; or omitting extracellular Na+ or Cl-. Patch clamp studies showed histamine inhibited an M current, causing depolarization and firing of action potentials.
