摘要
Kriging interpolation was carried out in this study to predict the distribution of solar charged particles in the South Atlantic Anomaly (SAA) region. Data from electrons with 30 keV energy level (meped0e1) taken from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) 15 satellite, on 8 September 2003 and 28 October 2003 are employed. The analyses were conducted by studying the variogram of meped0e1 flux and distributional fitting of the variogram estimator using three commonly used models: Spherical model, exponential model and linear model. Kriging interpolation results of these models will be compared to the NOAA real data. It can be seen that the exponential and spherical models are well functional to predict the distribution of electrons in the SAA. However, exponential model has a better result when the variance between these two models is compared.
