Feasibility of LDACS1 cell planning in European airspace

摘要
Deployment of LDACS1 (L-band digital aeronautical communications system type 1) on a Europe - wide scale is easily feasible. Significant capacity is still left for future expansion. The inlay deployment requires hardly more channels than the non-inlay deployment. LDACS1 can handle more than three times the 2035 data traffic.
