Towards probabilistic decision support in public health practice: Predicting recent transmission of tuberculosis from patient attributes.

•We propose a probabilistic decision support algorithm for tuberculosis control.•A logistic regression model was used to estimate the probability of transmission.•Multiple imputation was used to estimate missing values of predictive features.•Bayesian model averaging was performed to identify an accurate classification model.•The performance of the model suggests that field application may be appropriate.
