摘要

•A polymer solution containing a nonvolatile liquid solute is cast into a thin layer.•Fast solvent evaporation leads to the condensation of the liquid solute.•The condensed droplets template the precipitation of the polymer in the cast layer.•A honeycomb patterned polymer film forms after removing the template droplets.
