LC-MS guided isolation, quantification and antioxidant evaluation of bioactive principles from Epimedium elatum.

•LC–MS guided isolation was carried out.•A total of 10 compounds were isolated.•Three compounds were isolated for the first time from this plant.•Nine compounds were quantified in a validated HPLC method.•Dibenzylideneacetone depicted highest DPPH activity with IC50 of 4.32μM.
