Surgical treatment for patients with symptomatic generalised seizures due to brain lesions.

•Some local originated seizures show generalised ictal semiology.•Epileptic network might be responsible for this symptomatic generalised seizure.•Early-age damage and posterior located lesion might be related to this network.•Localising the seizure origination is possible.•The surgical outcome is acceptable.
