摘要
The anomalous origin of the left coronary artery from the pulmonary artery is a rare congenital heart disease that affects 1 of 300,000 live births. We present the case of an 18-year-old female presenting with chest pain and dyspnea after vigorous exercise, and whose two-dimensional echocardiogram initially displayed a "normal connection" between the left coronary artery with the aortic sinus of Valsalva. Using a systematic diagnostic echocardiography approach, we rightfully diagnosed it as anomalous origin of the left coronary artery from the pulmonary artery. (C) 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
