摘要
A carbon supported Pt-SnO2/C catalyst was prepared by hydrothermal method and the preparation process was optimized well. Factor of product in solution of different atomic ratio of Pt-SnO2/C catalyst was evaluated for their effects on ethanol oxidation reaction (EOR). The Pt-SnO2/C electrodes were prepared by Electrostatic Fiberswill technology. Structural and compositional analysis of the nanostructured materials were performed by EDS, XRD, TEM techniques. The active surface area was up 108.405mgcm2. The ethanol oxidation reaction was tested in a conventional three-electrode cell. The electrochemical studies include cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry and AC impedance at Three-electrode under similar conditions to those of the DEFC. At pH 9, composite catalyst particles of low crystallinity, well dispersed, current density up to 109.6mA/cm2, which the Pt-SnO2/C prepared by platinum tin atomic ratio of 31, thus the electrocatalytic activity ethanol oxidation was better, which reached high oxidation peak current density with lower potential. © 2011 IEEE.
