Microwave heating-based analysis method for the coal moisture content

It usually takes about 3h for water ratio of coal in thermal power plant to detect, which is not conducive to productivity of power plants. To overcome the above-mentioned problem, we propose a new method in this paper. In order to get higher heated temperature, Microwave has been used to act as a heat source. With our method, it takes only fifty seconds to complete test without prominent difference. Moreover, a new measurement system have been designed which is easily handled and provide relatively accurate test result.
