cDNA Microarray images Gridding based on projection

Gridding is the primary task of cDNA Microarray images processing. Among the present methods, those based on projection are simple, rapid, and with high accuracy. Several techniques based on projection are analyzed in this paper. Base on these techniques, an advanced method is proposed. The parameters are irrelevant to spot size, spacing, number of rows, columns, and applicable to various types of cDNA Microarray images. Experiment shows that the proposed method is also easy, fast, easily implemented, and with high accuracy. At the same time, the method has better robustness to images with a lot of noise.
