摘要
The urea formaldehyde (UF) microcapsule containing paraffin was produced by in-situ polymerization. In the polymerization, the hot water dilution was used to distract the microcapsules, which avoided the polymer dispersant effect on the microcapsule performance. By using the analysis of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electronic microscope (SEM), optical microscope (OM) and differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), the chemical structure, surface configuration, shell structure and thermal property of the microcapsule for phase change material were investigated. The results showed that the wrap integrity equably dispersed and special core material microcapsule was produced by means of one step in-situ polymerization and hot water dilution. The surface of microcapsule is rough and scraggly, and it is composed of UF nanoparticles protruding from the surface. The size is around 100 mu m. The microcapsule has fine performance: the phase transition temperature reaches 50 degrees C.
