Adsorption of Selenium on Nano-magnetic Particles and their Inhibition Rate on H 1299 Tumor Cell

Adsorption isotherm of selenite ions on nano-magnetic particles was determined to study adsorption properties of them, and change of their properties with different pH. The morphologies of two nano-magnetic particles carried by selenite ions and their inhibition rate on H 1299 tumour cell were determined by TEM and MTT method respectively. The results show, the silica coated nano-magnetic particle carriers have more preferable dispersion and larger inhibition rate on H 1299 tumour cell than the nano-magnetic particle carriers themselves. It demonstrates that the silica-coating can prevent agglomerating between nano-magnetic particles, and make them better compatible with bio-system than before.
