Design of KHS-15000/75 rectifier power supply

The KHS-15000/75 rectifier power supply is introduced, which is of steady-current type with 15 kA/75 V DC output. The main circuit consists of dual rectifiers controlled by two CPUs. The control system adopts 16-bit singlechip 80C196KC and the digital trigger adopts 8-bit singlechip 89C51. The communication between them is via a parallel interface. The modularized design is applied for its monitoring software and the flowcharts of master control, initialization, self-diagnosis and automatic voltage regulation are presented. Solutions are proposed to the key technical points: digital trigger, self-diagnosis, fault identification and protection.
