摘要
Objective: To observe the protective effect of Fugan peptide(FGP), an oral preparation mainly consisting of newborn calf liver active peptide, on carbon tetrachloride-induced chronic liver injury. Methods: Establish rat model of carbon tetrachloride-induced chronic liver injury, and observe the effect of FGP on the erythrocyte and leukocyte counts, the hematochrome, ALT, AST, total protein(TP)and albumin(ALB)levels, as well as the ratio of albumin to globulin(A/G)of model rats. Results: As compared with those untreated, the A/G of model rats treated with FGP at 3 dosages increased significantly, and the pathological lesion of liver tissue decreased significantly. However, the ALT and AST levels of model rats treated with FGP at a high dosage decreased significantly. Conclusion: FGP showed significantly protective effect on carbon tetrachloride-induced chronic liver injury.
