Partner Enterprise Selection in Supply Chain Management Based On Rough Sets and SVM

To effectively support supply chain partnerships and ensure better collaboration of supply chains, the selection of a supply chain partner enterprise is very important in the SC field. A hybrid intelligent system is applied to select the partner enterprise, combining Rough Set approach and Support Vector Machines (SVM). We can get a reduced information table with no information loss by the rough set approach. Then this reduced information is used to develop classification rules and train SVM. The effectiveness of our methodology was verified by experiments comparing BP neural networks with our approach. © ASCE.
