TiO 2 tubes synthesized by using ammonium sulfate and carbon nanotubes as templates

摘要
The synthesis of high surface area titania nanotubes by employing carbon nanotubes and ammonium sulfate as templates is discussed. The as prepared titania tubes are well crytallized without calcination and keep nanotubes structure even after calcination at 700 °C. The morphology and phase identification of the products are characterized using scanning electron microscopy and powder X-ray diffraction.
