Study on the modeling technology of virtual numerical machining

Virtual Numerical Control (VNC) machining is one of highlights both in science circles and enterprise circles at present, and modeling technology is its one of key technologies. In this paper, some kinds of modeling methods including a model of cutting force and a track model of cutting tool of VNC machine tool are given, a model of VNC machining process is built applying Sweep Differential Equation (SDE) approach, the simulation models of machining process and error is built by examples. Finally, the directions of study are come up with for the future.
