摘要
AIM: To observe the difference of the concentration of the apolipoprotein A I (apoA I) and A II (apoA II) between the patients infected with HCV and the normal subjects. METHODS: A total of 150 blood serum samples were obtained from 75 patients infected with HCV and 75 normal subjects (age: 1-70 years old). The proportion of sex and age between the HCV infected patients and the normal subjects were almost identical. The serum apoA I and apoA II were measured using 7070 chemistry analyzer and chemical preparations made in Japan. And the difference of the apoA I and apoA II between the HCV infected patients and the normal subjects were further analyzed with statistics. RESULTS: In the patients, the mean concentration of apoA I was 113.0 mg/dl, and apoA II, 22.5 mg/dl; and in the normal subjects, the mean concentration of apoA I was 124.2 mg/dl, and apoA II, 24.9 mg/dl. The concentration of apoA I and apoA II in the patients infected with HCV was significantly lower than that of normal subjects (P<0.05). CONCLUSION: The levels of apoA I and apoA II are significantly lower in patients infected with HCV than that of normal subjects. In patients with HCV RNA (+), the levels of apoA I and apoA II are also lower than that of HCV RNA (-)(P>0.05).
