摘要
We have analyzed the influences of the earth's variable rotation on the atmospheric and oceanic movement in low latitude in the previous paper by means of theory of waves and oscillations. Applying the shallow water equations with air-sea interaction in low latitudes, we discuss the influences of the earth's variable rotation on air-sea coupled system in this paper by means of normal mode and special functions. It is shown that the variation of the earth's rotation rate on the one hand affects the propagation and stability of Kelvin and Rossby waves and on the other hand can cause the changes of zonal wind, current and sea surface temperature. Particularly, when the earth's rotation rate is decelerated, the anomaly of zonal wind and current is caused and SST in the east part of low-latitude oceans is increased through the air-sea interaction, thus causing the El Ni (n) over tildeo events which bring about the global climate changes.
