Synthesis and catalytical properties of small crystal Fe-ZSM-5

Fe-ZSM-5 zeolite with small crystal sizes was synthesized by hydrothermal method. The XRD, scanning electron microscopy, and SDP measurements were used to characterize its physico-chemical properties. Its catalytic property in methanol-to-gasoline reaction was also studied. The synthesized Fe-ZSM-5 is only 0.4-0.6 μm in size and has a very uniform size distribution. The sample has a relatively larger surface and shows remarkable catalytic properties in methanol-to-gasoline reaction.
