Laddertron development in Beijing HI-13 tandem accelerator lab

A new laddertron was successfully developed in Beijing HI-13 tandem accelerator lab with special attention and emphasis put on making nylon link and bushings. After the test operation of more than 3500 hours, it can be seen that (1) its transverse swing is small, its high-voltage performance is good, and its operation is smooth; (2) the adjustment process is significantly simplified by using a new assembling technology established in its development course.
