Solidification mechanism of Al/Tic intragranular composites fabricated by contact reaction method
Acta Metallurgica Sinica Series B, Process Metallurgy & Miscellaneous(1994)
摘要
The critical velocity of TiC particles relates to the surface tension, thermal conductivity, the supercooling in the melt of the interface front and the volume fraction of particles. The equation of the critical velocity was obtained. Two solidification mechanisms of Al matrix intragranular composite were proposed. First, the copper atoms concentrate around TiC particles can break the stability of solid/liquid interface. Second, the micrometer aggregate can be deposited in the dimples of solid/liquid coarse interface.
