摘要
In this paper, the humidity profiles in Beijing has been retrieved and analyzed from a K-band ground-based hyperspectral microwave radiometer. The improved Levenberg and Marquardt method is used to extract the redundant information of atmospheric spectrum under the hyperspectral microwave condition. Through correcting the background data, the proposed method can improve the retrieval performance based on the atmospheric profile data form Integrated Global Radiosonde Archive in the last two decades. The comparison between TP/WVP-3000 and hyperspectral microwave radiometer reveals good improvements in the profile error and vertical resolution. Moreover, the information content of atmospheric spectrum measured from hyperspectral microwave radiometer was analyzed by Shannon Information Gain. Analysis results show that the hyperspectral information of the microwave atmospheric spectrum has additional potential for development, and the performance of water vapor retrieval can be improved with higher spectral resolution.
