The prediction of short-term traffic flow based on the niche genetic algorithm and BP neural network

The paper analyses the prediction model of BP neural Network and the principles of niche genetic algorithm prediction, then sets up the neural network algorithm based on the niche genetic algorithm. The paper also sets up the short-term traffic flow based on the BP neural network, designs the BP neural network algorithm based on the prediction model of the short-term traffic flow. Good results are obtained and the effectiveness of the algorithm is verified. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.
