Long Jumping Videos Processing by Surendra and CamShift Algorithms

The precise analysis of long jumpers skilled videos is essential for the coaches to schedule the training. In this paper, we finished the athletes detection and tracing in the vide using the modified Surendra and CamShift algorithms respectively. The results show that the contour of the athletes presented is complete by the modified Surendra, and that the less searching area and appropriate detection box size can be obtained by the improved CamShift. Our cases can provide the valuable references to the related research and application.
