Appetite suppressing pregnane glycosides from the roots of Cynanchum auriculatum.

Fifteen pregnane glycosides including nine never previously reported were identified from the roots of Cynanchum auriculatum. Significant appetite-suppressant effects and body weight loss were observed with wilfoside K1N, in an in vivo test with rats.
