A designed image encryption algorithm based on chaotic systems

In this paper, we suggest a new method of image encryption using multi-chaotic systems in which two logistic maps and a 2-D chaotic spatial map are considered. Classical permutation plus diffusion architecture builds up the whole encryption algorithm. However, compared with other schemes, we let two chaotic logistic sequence streams be initial conditions in 2-D discrete spatial system, and design new pre-process for chaotic sequences and a new diffusion function, further, the keys are dependent on each other. Any change in pixels of the original plain image will spread over the whole cipher image. The computer simulated experiments and security analysis show that the proposed algorithm can reach high security and offer us a fast way for digital image information encryption.
