Settling velocity measurement of waste water treatment based on image processing technology

A image processing-based settling velocity measurement method(principal component analysis) for waste water treatment is proposed.The degree of waste water settlement is automatically identified by taking technologies of image grabbing,image pre-processing,image feature extraction as well as computer image processing,and settlement curve is drawn.Experimental results show that test results are close to that of the actual situation,so the method has advantages of high accuracy and easy operation.
