Lanthanide(Iii) Complexes With 1-(1-Carboxypropionyl)Thiosemicarbazide: Synthesis, Characterization And The Inhibiting Effects On Human Decidual Cells

Thirteen lanthanide(III) complexes, Ln(CPT)(3)(H2O)(2)(CH3OH) [where Ln = La similar to Yb, Y, except Pm and Tm; HCPT = 1-(1-carboxypropionyl)thiosemicarbazide], have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of elemental analyses, molar conductance, magnetic susceptibility, IR electronic and H-1 NMR spectral techniques and thermal analyses. The analytical data suggest a seven - coordination around the metal ion with one coordinated water molecule. The inhibition effects on human decidual cells for the lanthanum complex have been also studied.
