摘要
To measure the serum vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) levels in acute leukemia samples and to investigate the relationships between serum VEGF,LDH concentration and clinical condition in acute leukemia.Serum levels of VEGF and LDH were detected in different stage of 47 AL patients. They were contrasted to those of control group and the numbers of the blast cell were counted within nucleated cells in bone marrow.1)The serum VEGF and LDH concentration of the AL group was significantly higher than that of control(P0.01).2)The serum VEGF and LDH concentration of the untreated group was significantly higher than that of remission group(P0.01)and the serum VEGF and LDH concentration of the refractory or relapsed group was increased which was significantly higher than that of remission group(P0.01).3)Linear correlation was observed between the level of VEGF and LDH in patients with Leukemia(r=0.58,P0.05).VEGF and LDH also have linear relationship with the ratio of the blast cell in bone marrow.Assessment of VEGF for diagnosis and estimation of prognosis in patients with acute leukemiare of important clinical significance.
