Incremental Ehr Introduction Considering The Situation In Health Care And The Current Standards Under Development

EHR1 is used according to the definition of the NHS (Nation Health Service. GB) [I I]. To meet the requirements of "Integrated Care" it is a basic need to share information. For this reason, EHR (Electronic Health Record) is a core part of an hospital information system as well as a service on duty of the patient to improve the treatment of patients. Covering, observing, and monitoring dynamic processes as it is needed in healthcare means to introduce workflow.This goal can not be reached overnight since nobody is able or willing to switch off traditional systems". We identified the need to pick up customers at their current stage and accompany them to this objective.In this paper aspects of our software framework and parts of the development process are presented describing how to match these goals:Standardized data management fulfilling the requirements of prENV 13606 [12] and HL7 CDA [13]. as well as in a first step the fast integration in the current clinical situation by utilising subsystems and moreover integrating their data sources.
