α-particle decay of states in 11C, 13C, and 15N near decay threshold

alpha-particle decays from several excited states in C-11, C-13, and N-15 have been observed in three-body final state reactions induced by heavy-ion beams at 6.5-9.0 MeV/nucleon from the FSU Tandem/LINAC. Where possible, branching fraction estimates are made. Improvements in the energy resolution of the detection system have allowed the observation of many previously unreported alpha-particle decays, several new total energy width determinations, and a few new excited state energies.
