Ticket Based Authentication and Payment Protocol for Mobile Telecommunications Systems

摘要
In the third generation mobile telecommunication systemssuch as UMTS, one of the important problems forvalue-added services is to check the recoverability ofcosts used by a mobile user.In this paper we present anefficient public-key protocol for mutual authenticationand key exchange designed for value-added services inUMTS.Proposed ticket based authentication and paymentprotocol provides an efficient way for VASP to checkthe recoverability of costs without communication withthe on-line TTP.Furthermore, ticket based protocol canprovide anonymous service usage for a mobile user.
