摘要
A particularly large aneurysm at the rostral bifurcation of the a. basilaris, extending into the fossa interpeduncularis was found in a 42-year-old male with Parinaud's syndrome and internuclear ophthalmoplegia. Evidence derived from neurological and neurosurgical findings as well as from the disease course and the morphological substrate indicates that the underlying lesion did affect the pretectal region and the longitudinal medial bundle, but not the lamina quadrigemina. The particular problems involved are discussed, also with regard to the literature.
